My second fully painted commission, now for God blessed and kind hearted

As usual when the client gave me the brief profile of the character, my first self-question was what this character unique ability or appearance. This is important because the whole concept of my painting mostly based on this question. Teri’s character, however, have several point of interests, but which I like most was her unique magical red wings. Therefore, I tried to think how my picture could show Thunderbird’s wings in dramatic way.

Then I imagined what would I do if I have such magnificence gift myself. Of course I would fly away from earth and roam the sky with birds. I still thought this depiction was typical for every airborne super-hero, but this is exactly why these heroes would look great.

Especially them with wings on their own.
