Normally I don’t want to enter any DA contest anymore, because I never won any after taking several But accidentally I read #TypeMoon-Universe journal and found this particular contest very interesting. It’s not because I want to win badly, but I thought that the whole concept of this contest is brilliant.

I like all about Type-Moon, its characters, universe and the story. But if this contest is only about draw their character, I won’t be interested. But group threw the idea of pairing Fate’s servants with our OC. As I do have several OC with my own universe, I thought it would be fit to have them have some ‘what if’ story. My universe, Mayana, is the near future world set in the city of Neo-Batavia. It has all the good guys, the bad guys, authorities, politicians, corrupt bureaucrats, mecha and so on. So if incidentally the War of Holy Grail is happened, it’ll be massive battle, just as in the original Fate/Stay Night story!

Here in my entry piece, I pair my OC named Cindy with the Berserker. Cindy is female lead protagonist in Mayana. Although she has some skill in defending herself, it’s actually only a basic martial art. Then if she fights herself without stronger Servant, it will be early doom for her. So I thought Berserker is fit for her, in the way he can protect her with his huge and massive body. This Berserker is the same as in the original Fate/Stay Night anime series, but I create him in his younger days (basically I just paint his face more handsome, that’s all. I didn’t change any of his outfit or weapon, so Fate’s fans will still recognize him).

Well, it’s a fun work, so probably I’ll draw more Fate/Mayana cross over. Davin (if you read my comic you sure knew him) will be paired with Saber (either Arthuria or Nero, I didn’t decide yet). Tae will probably goes with another female servants, as he is rather playboy, and I think Gypsy will go either with Lancer or Archer. Dr. Maruska will be paired with Rider (I think some ecchi stuff here now… ), and Rumi will go with Caster. For the bad guys, I didn’t decide any yet, because I must see the list of other available servants from Fate/Zero or Fate/Extra.
