Description
This is my image of Joan of Arc, one great historical female figure which her saga will proudly be told in my graphic novel. I have completed the script, and now still working on gathering references.Check this link below on another sketch pages/concept art:

awe.i'm writting about her too. she's a guest character in my story about a girl looking for her boyfriend who got lost durring a time travel experiment. see my journal for more.[link]
i thought about them saving her from burning at that stake(history remains intact, i'm a history major so i don't want to change the past just point out some missing details and joan ends up living in 80's.

nice premise there, is it for comic book or novel? It's always been interesting to see cameo of famous person in the story. It'll be great if you can also include Jean De Metz growing old together with her (not as husband of course)..

unfortunately there's a problem with the publisher so this project was discontinued. I'll probably search another publisher, but I'm not so sure I'll get it soon...

Well I'm a huge fan of Joan of Arc ( I even took Jeanne as my middle name) so I hope everything works out for you and your work. I'd love to see a graphic novel of her.

Fabulous armour and depth. What did you use?
Also, did you take as reference the Joan of Arc from Age of Empires?

Just use drawing pen for inking. It's completely manual. Nope, I didn't use any reference from games. Armour cames from pics you can found all over the net, and of course from the infamous Milla Jovovich's Joan of Arc movie

well i don't like languages that much
but i have too because in belgium we have
2 "motherlanguages" here dutch in the north
and french in the south
of course we have to learn them both then
well the french are too lazy so we have to do
all the learning
i like english it looks like dutch
and i'm not bad at it
if i may say so

It's same here. In my country there's a lot of mother languages Every island in Indonesia have their own languages. For example: I live in Java, and beside Indonesian (this is national language), we have to study either Sundanese or Javanese (depends on where we live, west, middle, or east Java).

indonesian? i've heard of the country but i dind't know
that there is a language of the same name

Dedefox In reply to altason [2010-08-05 03:47:56 +0000 UTC]
Well, in region 3 of any DVD you should find language called BAHASA (that's international name for Indonesian language). As for Sundanese and Javanese, they are local languages so probably there's only few people in other countries who knew them.
