I agonized over how to do the banner, and I'm pleased with how it turned out. The transfer sheet came in very handy.I also used Testors Glosscote and Dullcote for the varnishes instead of the Vallejo varnishes I regularly use on non-vehicle models. Weather permitting, this may be my go-to varnishing method from here on out.

Thanks! I went with GW's "old" gold combo for the helmet and "new" gold combo for the dec on the bolt rifle and the banner on the eagle, and I like the contrast.
