Getting a good photo in this situation (pretty young lady, nice setting, pretty clothes) is not hard, but this is more than a snapshot of good-looking objects. I erased the first critique I was writing because I was figuring out more about the photograph as I looked at it.

This is a good photo of a creature of the wild because she is embracing nature and distancing herself from humanity. Not only is she sitting in a forest surrounded by greenery, she is barefoot, so her connection to the earth is literal. She also has flowers in her hair, around her ankle, and printed on her dress. She is looking away from the camera and playing with her fingers, as if having your human technology could not keep her interest. I usually have my subjects look into the frame, but she is looking out of the frame, and that was definitely the right decision in this case. Looking out of the frame encourages me to imagine what she is looking at, so she's encouraging me to not look the photograph.

I suppose I should say some negative things as well. The pose might be improved by having her hands on the other side of her knees (her left). The lighting is nothing special, but it doesn't need to be. I can't really think of anything.
