I have been thinking about 3D printing sense I first knew of it's existence lol, sadly the costs are more than I can manage any time in the near future.

Well, it depends about the size, material and technique...
Several years ago, I had to find another 3D print supplier for custom perfume bottles.
We worked with a supplier which prices were around 30 EUR the mock-up.
And I found another one which prices were around 5-7 EUR.
I imagine the prices have much decreased now...
