Description
Mount Rainier during some vibrant autumn colours. Later that day the cloud would set in for a good week of our trip meaning no more visibility.We did however get to see black bears and other animals in the paradise region during our 2018 trip!

Tipsoo Lake at it's best, well any time it's accessible is best really. Fine image of a remote location so difficult to access. There are so many good places to view the mountain, I'm still finding new ones. I know, I live nearby lol. The colors and composition are excellent!

Dear, Washington state.
It's been a while since I've left you. Though I am now so many miles across the Pacific sea that you sit beside, I still think about you all the time. You make up a great portion of my life that I don't think I'll ever forget.
I wish I could've at least visited this beautiful sleeping beast of a mountain as seen in this photo, taken by such a tremendously talented individual. I may visit that mountain when I visit. I may not come to stay, not when the country is in the state that it is during these times. But perhaps to inhale the fragrance of your evergreen forests after a rainy day, or to see the shy but occasionally friendly wildlife every now and then.
Thank you for the 10 years of memories you have given me. Hope to see you again soon.
