i was taking a selfie in low light, and it ended up blurring like the shaking head framerate effect famously used in the 80's horror film "Jacob's Ladder," which is set in a mental asylum. its legacy in turn inspired Silent Hill and cosmic horror in general, as well as many a young film maker.
just thought i'd dial up the spoopy for fun and effect.
look closely, and you just might spot what pixel art i sampled from Super Mario Bros! (NES version.)
