Description
Here is my first Hypocritic Comic with the Hypocritic criticizing how SpongeBob used to be good but is now bad and how My Little Pony used to be bad but is now good. This is based on the reactions of how SpongeBob Fans keep saying that SpongeBob started to be bad after the 2004 Movie and that SpongeBob was good during the pre 2004 Movie Seasons and also how My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Fans keep saying that the pre G4 My Little Pony Franchise was bad and that My Little Pony is good in it's G4 Series. Now as for my opinions on the post Movie SpongeBob Seasons and the pre G4 My Little Pony Franchise. I actually don't think they are as bad as most people say they are. In fact I actually kinda like them they have some flaws but there not too bad in my opinion I'm probably one of the few people out there that likes post Movie SpongeBob and pre G4 My Little Pony and if you disagree please respect my opinions on post Movie SpongeBob and pre G4 My Little Pony and I also respect your opinions on them as well too. Anyway hope all of you like my first Hypocritic Comic!

I like Post-Movie SB and Pre-G4 MLP as well!
I wasn't aware of the hate SB gotten until I got into Season 9, but I don't think SB is as bad as everyone say it was; there were good episodes, and a lot of them. I have to say SB went downhill Season 6 because of larger seasons and possible communication breakdowns, as well as an insane schedule brought up by Nick requiring larger seasons in very little time, perhaps too much. When you see recycled plots and what seems to be two episodes smashed into one, there has to be something wrong with the SB crew.
As for MLP, G1 had top-notch writing that I don't think even G4 could rival, but I hated Tales. G3 was a neat show for me to watch, but after 2008, I wasn't enjoying it. While the writing quality of G4 is improving, it had a LONG way to go to rival G1, there is a ton of filler that most G1 episodes don't have, and the villains are not very good for me.

Well, that's up for you to decide.
I personally view G1 as good as G4, in terms of it's writing... well, I actually think it's better; it is really good in my view. The show is a story-driven fantasy-adventure series with an episodic nature, compared to G4's character-driven slice-of-life format, and the fantasy influences are present, primarily because the show had fantasy writers work for the show. I liked how dark and tense Generation 1 could get; I recalled one episode where the ponies killed a villain by blowing him up and it was not "lightened" in any way... they showed the explosion up close and personal. I also love adventure shows, but it's not all adventure, though; the show did tend to be more slice-of-life in nature on occasion.
Episodes I suggest for you to watch are Return of Tambelon, Quest of the Princess Ponies, Ghost of Paradise Estate, Magic Coins, and The Golden Horseshoes; these episodes defined Generation 1 MLP as a fantasy adventure series. Rescue at Midnight Castle also came from this generation, as well as Escape from Catrina; I also suggest those episodes. This isn't as bad as people are making it out to be, but, again, that's up for you to decide.
Do keep in mind that this was a TV show made in the 1980's, so the animation isn't going to be the best... actually, out of the many Hasbro-backed cartoons, the show is kind of the least polished, often being choppy with animation errors, but it's far from an ugly TV show; it's still decent looking. Also, this show has a 1-song-per-episode format, and there were a total of 65 episodes (4 being re-cuts of TV specials that aired prior to the show)... but I actually liked a lot of the songs.

I don't really see how this is hypocritical. It's just a strange opinion.
The Hypocritic is basically for people who complain about something in one work, but are perfectly fine with that exact same detail in a different work.
For example, you could make one satirizing how people are angry over Twilight suddenly having a brother, but are perfectly fine with Pinkie suddenly having a third sister.
