Description
Deep down inside these gray
feelings turn around and
round like a whirl pool.
They seem calm on top
spinning forever inward and
downward as if wanting to
pull these gray feelings to the
core of my being.

All I want is freedom from this
whirlpool of emotions.
I don't mean to be so conflicted
on the inside.
Trying to stay calm for
everyone's sake.
Not able to stay clam
yelling out words to everyone
getting looks as if I'm wrong.
Then getting no apologizes
for getting me upset.
I ask for none but they would be nice.
Always making everyone else happy.

When will it be my time
to be joyful, content, fulfilled.
My moment to say no to someone
and not have to take it back
because of guilt or to keep the peace.
When will I out grow this
young expectations and be
able to fulfill the grown
desires that I have.
How will I be able to let go
of most so that I can be free.
