whoa, I just noticed that there's a negative filter on it. normally those filters are horribly distracting and ruin photos, but you've managed to use it to your advantage. it looks cool with the blue.
but either way, I feel like this photo should be darkened a bit. too much white, and not enough contrast.
also, watch your contrast. in situations like this you can use lines to your advantage.

thanks for the suggestions. I agree w/ the white now that you mention it...I kept focusing on the foreground. And I really like the negative filter--it was supposed to symbolize the "toxic" affects.
Oh, about the abbreviation--we used the online Scrabble dictionary (this picture was taken after a game) and they defined it as: et= a past tense of eat.
