This is Melandry Rocklander, the greatest pirate that ever lived! Or, she will be someday, for now she travels with the HOW group doing various tasks. I figured it would be fitting for her to be fighting on a ship...doing pirately things

I mainly used SAI, then I went to photoshop to do the background~ I plan on attempting to make a coloring tutorial for someone so maybe it will help you too
