Just something I dug up.I dont mind comments on stuff like composition, colours and stuff. I only bite if you look like food. or fruit. which is also food. or something.
Nikon D80, 50mm f/1.8 lens.

The 50mm f1.8 is pretty cheap.. something like $150 I suppose.. but I guess you can find it cheaper if you search for used ones..
the lens construction is so simple on this lens, so finding a used one in perfect shape shouldnt be that hard.. (but finding someone that would sell their 50mm might be harder, haha)

I like the composition and the DOF. Framing is nice, but I think I wouldn't mind seeing this being a square since there is a lot of negative space. A bit too much, I think.
Colors and tones are nice. So is the contrast

I really like this and the flowers. Small and really simple. It's nice. Though, the huge space of blurriness at the bottom makes me kind of dizzy and distractions me a little bit, maybe if you tried to crop it so it's a little smaller and you have more of the flower in view?
