Description
The Torres Nebula was name after its discoverer, B'Elanna Torres, Chief Engineer of USS Voyager NCC 74656. It was discovered on stardate 51379.1 while B’Elanna and Tom Paris are on scouting mission a day ahead of Voyager.
Although the nebula is nothing they haven’t seen before B’Elanna found it, fascinating, which is not exactly her style, so Paris named it after B’Elanna. Captain Janeway made it official in her Captains Log on Stardate 51380.5.
