I'm confused. If you read Halo: The Fall of Reach (first official Halo novel) it clearly states that the Pillar of Autumn is a Halcyon-class cruiser. Where did you get Marathon-class from?

This is the marathon-class from halo 2. The Pillar of Autumn is already blown up. In halo 2 they have different ones.
