Description
A somewhat gruesome cartoon I offered to the Seattle Times, which was totally ignored, as usual. It addresses newspapers dying not just through attrition of revenue, but attrition of staff, because they're literally eating themselves.An alternate approach I considered utilized the image of the ouroboros , but I was afraid the image would be less self-explanatory than this one. This one's got the benefit of being more shocking, too.

I'm not surprised the Times wouldn't take it. They don't strike me as particularly self-critical. But then again, what newspaper is? The Stranger? XD Maybe you should try offering it to them.
