Description
Yet another one! This time, I found that the gradient I liked gave a real sense of the coming springtime for those of you in the Northern Hemisphere. So there it is.I'm trying to choose colors outside of my comfort zone of blues, purples, and magentas. So far, so good.
Apophysis 7x, some touchup in Photoshop to reduce grain.

yes this is refreshing especially since it was snowing up here in boston! when will spring really be here?! lol
going out of your comfort zone is always good cause, who knows, you might even develop a new style, like combining this type with your other style

Hehe, thank you.
Yeah I generally like "contained" fractals that stay inside their border, frame, what-have-you. I generally don't do "all over" fractals like these, and I'm getting more comfortable with view-enveloping work. Getting out of my comfort zone on coloring's been really helpful, and letting me see what works better for the image, rather than what I'd just like to put it in.
Yeah, it's just starting to look like spring here. I lucked out with that particular set of colors, because I hadn't originally intended to make it feel "springlike" but when I saw what it could do, I was like "Spring. Yes. Flower colors. Yes."
I have it as my wallpaper on my computer (rotated to horizontal, and cropped to fit), because I really like the spring vibes so close to Easter right now. (PS. I left it as a downloadable if you want to use it for a desktop wallpaper yourself. Maybe one of these days I'll get off my butt and make a nice fractal wallpaper pack, but meh...we'll see.)

Looks very much like a flower through distorted glass panes

Thanks. I was definitely going for the flower vibe, so it's nice to see someone interpreted it that way.

Thanks. Yeah, I was aiming for modern stained-glass looking stuff.
