These are Jade and Nigel from Lira_valentine's fic, Steel~Blood~Ink, over at SFSo if you haven't read it (it's delightful, and if you're perusing my slashy metalocalypse stuff, i'm sure you'd love it) Jade is Nathan's kid and Nigel is a friend of Toki's.
Jade is Dying Nigel' roots... that's what's going on here.

yeah! well, in the story (it's kind of a fast foreward 15 years down the road), the girl is nathan's daughter, and the guy is described as "resembling a younger toki" so I'm glad you notice the similiarities

I like Nigel. The boots and the kilt.. or... uh, skirt look simply great on him. And the thing he's sitting on (no idea how it's called in English) adds a fine detail. Good work!
