A shot of the Walkie-Talkie Building (as it's known)!20 Fenchurch Street was designed in 2004 by Rafael Viñoly, the world-renowned Uruguayan architect based in New York City. With his distinctive design, it is stunning on a purely aesthetic level. Without increasing the building’s footprint, Viñoly has successfully turned the idea that buildings having to be smaller at the top on its head. Known locally as the Walkie-Talkie, the 38-storey building is the fifth tallest completed building in the City of London. It provides 690,000 sq foot of office space with floorplates that get larger in size as the floors go up, occupied by some of the world’s leading-edge businesses, at a landmark address for London. I think your description is perfect, if you walk around this building and stand underneath just in front of it, look up, it curves over and looms over you! It's a strange building indeed. When it first opened, the curve of the glass facade reflected the sunlight so much that it caused some burns on cars and also other things to melt!

yes it was, but now they have made some adjustments by adding some kind of blinds which absorb the light and stop it reflecting back down onto the street

I wasn't very keen on this when I first saw it been built, but I really like this building now, it's so different (and curvy)
