yea i had rip of my middle finger nail n both index finger nails. plus scabs on the joints but it was numb then pain lol never EVER try and grind on a rail with roller blades lol

when I first started doing a newspaper route that is what my left hand always ended up looking like by the end of the week (I mean all the band-aids, I'd get in trouble if I bleed all over the papers)

These hands express fear and trauma to me. The way the ash collects on the cigarette makes me think the model is lost in thought over something horrible that just happened. Beautiful work. It's a shame that I only found it through an art thief.

I love how even though there is no innocence in this picture.. (even the focus seems harsh) .. the way the hands are loosely held gives the whole photo a gentle touch..
