Description
Second go at doing a realistic Megazord; this time I attempted to redesign it using the design language of Pacific Rim, while keeping the iconic elements (horned head, chest, shoulders, different colored legs) that make it the original Megazord.Related content

"Realistic" my ass. This. Design. Doesn. Not. Work. A giant robot being "realistic" does not require segmented faux-musculature and lots of articulated little plates and pistons - the idea that that is the only way to do it is a stupid conceit that needs to die.
Additionally, this redesign overlooks that the Megazord's appearance is due to being made of five separate units that combine together. This quite obviously cannot separate or even transform to tank mode, so some of the holdovers from the original design don't make sense.
Every last "U17r4 r341!57!( |-|4r|)(0r3"* Megazord redesign I've seen is a stupid, ugly mess that looks like it was traced over either Gypsy Danger or Movieverse Optimus Prime, which are fine designs in their own right but an ill fit for any Megazord.

I think you have succeeded in your attempt! Β Despite the redesign this is undeniably the Megazord.
