Sorry for the super long wait for a comment, but oh m y goODNESS? I've been keepin' up with the rest o' the comic, and I hope it's cool if I comment on the rest of a little bit here too? I don't wanna clutter your inbox or anything!
First of all holy cow thank you so much for including Turquoise!! ;o; You made her gem so beautiful! Heck, ya drew all the gems beautifully but of course turquoise is my fave tho ohohoho. Seriously though, you did an awesome job of having them like...in the background, but they still stand through as like...individuals?
That brings me to my next point which is...your backgrounds?? Are amazing?? Those brush strokes...dat bokeh...deM COLORS! Especially those clouds, omfg... I love how they are nice, solid shapes but they still look fluffy! And the streaks coming out of them are a great touch!! also wOW you've got an eye for lighting! And those gorgeous backdrops pair perfectly with those characters!
tho s e chARACTERS! I seriously love Ametrine so much already? And meeting the other gems that have been in their life has really been a treat so far. You do an amazing job of blending your original characters in with your cameos into one cohesive vision. But to speak specifically about your characters -- aAHH I love your character design!! From their outfits to their colors to their friggin hair styles (...or lack thereof -- sorry Blue Quartz ;o; ), I love it all!
And just?? Your style in general?? It is suCH a great blend of realistic and cartoony, and it's just soooOOO well done! your art is pretty freakin' awesome in general ok
I can't wait to see more stuff from ya!

Ohh my goodness thank you very much!! I try really hard to imitate the actual SU style for BGs, but many times I end up adding my own spin to it along the way.Β
The plans I have for this whole story keep getting longer and longer/// By the time I'm able to ACTUALLY CAMEO theses characters in here (not just their gems) most people would have probably forgotten about it haha-Β

Hmm... I'm not sure yet. The only canon character I've featured in these comics so far is Rose, I try to stay away from canon characters as much as possible so that I don't tamper with the canon story line
