Description
My contest entry for the Heroes side of the contest for Villains coming soon :33Movie Title: The Sorcerer's Hood
Synopsis: Based on the classic fairytale 'Little Red Riding Hood', The Sorcerer's Hood tells the story a young girl, Scarlet, who was born from a family of magicians. With only her grandmother to look out for her, Scarlet must hide what she is, as magic is seen as a valuable thing, something others would do anything to use. When a wolf, the cunning Caine, kidnaps Scarlet's non-magic wielding grandmother in order to get Scarlet to turn him human so he can overthrow the king, Scarlet must find away to stop him and rescue her gran. With the help of her best friend, Harrison, can Scarlet save her world and the only family she has left?
Facts about Scarlet:
-Main heroine.
-Full name is Scarlet Ford.
-15 years old.
-5ft 7'
-Wears her boots all the time, despite the fact her gran says they look ridiculous with everything.
-Must wear her hood to shade her eye colour. Her eyes are the key to figuring out that she can wield magic, and so the hood shades them, disfiguring their colour.
-Has her hair short as long hair annoys her.
-Brash and occasionally unpredictable, Scarlet presumes that nothing bad can ever happen to her. Of course, she's wrong, but still she leads Harrison into many dangerous situations, just because she thinks they'll be fine.
-Constantly worries about the people she cares about, as they are the only ones she knows she can trust with her skills.
Facts about Harrison:
-Sidekick of Scarlet.
-Full name is Harrison Archer.
-16 years old.
-5ft 5'
-Claims to be a 'man' due to his age. Also likes to claim he's getting a beard.
-Son of a lumberjack.
-Incredibly strongly built, despite his height.
-Quite lazy most of the time, would rather sit in around the forest instead of 'adventuring'.
Okay, so this is my entry for the heroes
I came up with the idea after thinking about fairy tales Disney hadn't attempted, but also a way to make the story very different, like Disney does. Scarlet's design came to me as I thought that there is a huge lack of Disney heroines with brown hair and brown-ish eyes, and with short her. Harrison came to me as I thought that the 'prince' or male characters in Disney films always tend to be taller than the girls. I wanted my entry to differ from the 'Disney norms' basically :3
(Please ignore the fact that her left arm is waaaay too long.)
