Description
Hey deviantFriends! Here is a new article from my blog : www.davidrevoy.com/article324/… .It's a geeky article about a (work-in-progress) filter created by David Tschumperlé, Sébastien Fourey and me. I have good hope to use this tool on future episodes to improve my productivity. I hope you'll enjoy it!

Create in GIMP and you could CTRL+SHIFT+E and choose .PSD as file format, this should work?

That filter is just plain wizardry
It's nice to see the state-of-the-art (I suppose the algorithm is new?) being implemented in free software!

OOh, this is very cool. I just updated my G'MiC to the latest verson, but this filter is not in there. I hope they include it in the next update.
Update next day: YES it is there, I just had to 'update my filters' and it popped up! Cool, now I'll go and play with it.

Whoa! That looks cool. I have a couple of questions.
- What is GMIC?
- So it works with anti-aliasing? Are there any transparent or white holes for really thick lines?
- I don't get some of the edge detection in your images. Are all of those automatic, based on the auto-close holes function? Or is there anything done manually?
- Can you do anything manually? Can you manipulate the nodes?
- Those bezier nodes... are they accessible as paths? That would be cool.
