Blitz the Manic Mandrill is pure Simon. I remember one night in the pub we came up with what must have been at least six origins for the character, but ultimately he felt it best if he didn't have one.

I'll confess something: I've heard of Sláine in about 1990, and now, 20 years later, haven't got to read it yet.
And curious as hell... I'll try to get my hands on it.

The Slaine series are all great. As well as Simon's also pick up the Glenn Fabry as well as the Clint Langley runs.
