AAAAhhh!!! For those who didn't know, I actually commissioned this partial in January-ish of last year xD I've waited almost a year and a half for this!I picked her up at Anthrocon from Erii and Sid (aka Jeepers Creatures Suits) and I couldn't be happier with the turnout x3Β
Her ears are huge. Her tail is huge (almost 5ft) and most of the details are pretty spot on with only a few of her piercings missing (tongue and snake bites).Β

It took me forever to save up for this suit of her. ;u; Cuz I commissioned for before I had a decent job, so a lot of it was commission earnings and whatever else I could get. ^^: Then I got my suits of Ryker and Gizur after I was working. Ryker was pretty cheap at a little over $200 with the bits from furbuy and various makers but commissioning her was how I became friends with the maker who made Gizur for me at a discount x3Β
But yeah x3 The photos do no justice ;u; Her eyes and everything look a million times better in person cuz the green paint is a bit sparkly and just aaahhhh <3 I love it. Her tail is almost 5 feet long too omg xD

i bet it would take me forever to save up. i've got my eyes on so many plushie makers as well and i'm simply dying for a plushie of two of my characters. they're rather cheap, about 50$ for bone? i feel like a fursuit would be the last on my list due to price and how long it would take to actually get. its really cool you know the suit maker, honestly.
that tail is only 8 inches shorter than me wow. it looks astounding in the photos, so it must be absolutely amazing in real life.

im pretty sure what im talking about is more of a cross-stitch or whatever?? its really cute though and i like to consider it a plushie. i like to think that i'm okay at making plushies? i haven't actually ever finished one but i know the gist of how to do it honestly. fabric isn't as expensive as you think though. my parents don't care what i do with my money or what i do on the internet so i might get one a little sooner. aw that really sucks

My parents may not like certain things I do with money or whatever, but they don't really try and stop me.Β
Like, I didn't tell my parents I got a fursuit til after I paid for part of it xD
But yeah xP I'm sure she'll fix or replace them for me, no problem. I just gotta get an extra bit of cash first so I can pay for it.Β

my mom won't care at all. as long as i'm not with her, i'm free to buy whatever i want. then again i only get like 10 bucks a year out of dev so
shipping is always expensive. i bought an 8 dollar tablet pen and with shipping it costed 25 dollars. crazy prices. i honestly think if i got a suit it would be of bone? even though he's not my fursona i do think it would be him.
i hope that once i do get one i can get one with a moving mouth :0

Lately, I've gotten most of my commissions thru Facebook groups. They seem to have a bigger audience and more people that are willing to spend money xDΒ
Yeah, shipping in general is definitely expensive.. International shipping is doubled or more depending on where you're shipping to/from. Like, shipping for Gizur was more than $100 from Brazil.Β
I think Bone would make a pretty cool suit o3oΒ
The moving mouths are great. The thing about them tho, like mine, it does lower the ventilation, especially without a fan. With open mouthed foam heads, the ventilation is better cuz there's a place that allows the constant air flow. So, depending on how well your heat tolerance is, that's something you may want to consider. Like, I can't wear my Ally partial for too long of time because my heat tolerance is a bit low and the ventilation is poor with the mouth staying mostly closed. My fullsuit is surprisingly cool tho o3o Lol. The short pile fur and some other little details of the way he's made, he actually gets good airflow thru the whole suit o3oΒ

weird, i would think facebook would have a smaller audience. maybe once i'm able to get paypal i can try to sell some of my art there. my dad said he might hook me up to his un-used paypal so that'd be cool.
shipping costs a lot whatever you buy though, unless it's super local. i think its cool that gizur came from brazil though, that's fun. 100 bucks is a lot though rip.
personally any other characters i would be interested in a suit of are really complicated.. especially quince, she's like a hurricane of stripes. other characters have accessories that mark the fact that they're that character that would be different.
is it possible to buy custom-made masks? i have a new character who's mask i'd kill to have a copy of. its so cool i love it... rip
i like to think i have a good head tolerance. i do think i'd need things like the feet and hands to have decent ventilation, my hands get really hot really fast.Β
gizur's a cool character. is he just a character you love alot or is he sort of a side sona? i've got a side sona, mostly for happy times really though.

If you have facebook, I can show you a few groups that are pretty awesome to sell in when you get paypal. I mostly post in furry or fursuit groups. Some of them have a few thousand followers so it's easy to get seen in them.Β
Yeah, in the US, primary shipping for the size of box that I got Ryker in (head), would be $20-ish but from Brazil, it was $45. Like, I only paid $10-ish to ship a pair of shoes to Ohio for Ally's partial.Β
Yeah, complex markings can really raise the price of a suit o.o That's kinda why I like that I have so many simple characters xDΒ
There probably are a few people that could make masks. Depending on what kinda mask it is, there's actually a maker I might know of that makes masks o3o
Yeah, small holes or something in the hands could probably be done for good ventilation o3o As long as they're there on purpose xD Feet paws are mostly like wearing regular shoes but get just a bit warmer o3oΒ
He's just a character I really like xD I got him designed for me a year or two ago and just though he would make a super awesome grump suit xD I think eventually I want to get a second head of him by autumn fallings or Foxy Socks (i think that's the maker I'm thinking of x'D) because they make some awesome grump suits. My side sonas are Ryker and Niobe.Β

geeze that sure is a difference wow. i wish i had more simple characters. i do actually have a few really simple 2-color minimal-pattern characters, but they've got masks or bandannas or something so i think they'd be out of the question personally. their masks are what make them special.

There was a maker that used to make masks to fit fursuits and stuff but I think they recently left the fandom as a whole and don't make suits anymore. It's really sad cuz their suits were amazing. That's the first person I'd suggest. Bandannas might be easier to find to be made since they can easily be embroidered and such.
That character is super cool tho

thank you so much! i think a bandanna would be a lot easier haha. i bet i could even make bandannas... i can make plushies though! not very good ones, and i haven't finished one quite yet, but i can do pretty good. i'd like to get into it and start selling them someday. i think it would be something i could definitely make a small career out of for the time being. i've gotta learn how to sew a lot better though. have you ever tried sewing or anything?

Yeah e.e A lot of crazy stuff happens among the fandom. A lot of drama and hate can get a bit messy too. I know there's quite a few furries that seem to go out of their way to cause trouble.. I don't like being part of the drama, but I do tend to keep an eye out for bewares and such in case I'm at a con or just to know who to avoid.Β
Bandannas would be much easier xD Fursuit bandannas are usually just two triangles of fabric sewn together with either snaps, velcro or regular buttons. Adding patches, names and stuff is what makes them unique. The bandanna I have for Gizur has his name in iron-on letters. I have a knitted scarf for Ally with her name on it. I got it from Kiwi on FA for only a few dollars o3o I can do minor sewing. I've learned a little so that I can fix my suits if I have to. But sewing is not my thing.Β
