Description Situated almost right on the line separating Illinois and Indiana is the little burg of Effner. Just on the Indiana side is this abandoned Toledo, Peoria, and Western depot. It doesn't seem to have been used in many years, but seems to be in decent shape still. Maybe one day someone will restore it.
