Speed painting. I have this ridiculous idea to do a series of pictures from Owl City songs. My boyfriend is very much encouraging the creation of these pictures so here is the first one. My original plan was for them to be masterpieces, but I recently got Painter 11 and I decided these pictures would be a great way to get used to the program.

I should probably add that I hardly had references for this picture. I live in GA and I've never seen Seattle so I glanced at a few pictures. Same process with the albatross, which are actually very cool birds!

Speed painting..that wasn't so speedy. Took about 1.5 hours due to my computer turning itself off. This is probably something I will redo when I am a better digital painter because the way I pictured it in my head was much different but unattainable at the moment (:

Painter is a VERY hard program compared to Photoshop..
