Description Here's some in progress sketches of some steampunk costume ideas for me and my friends. Slightly based on some ideas we threw around, but I just felt like drawing some cool steampunk couture.

My dress is currently in progress and is on the far left!

I'll move to scraps when I finish coloring it.

You know, I could see a pervert taking advantage of the placement of the strap on your dress. D:

Perhaps a little to the side more?

Anyway, very fun ideas. Are you actually thinking about making any of these? I imagine they'd be major projects, but I think they'd be awesome.

Huh? I guess I don't get your meaning, I dont see how a knee high pick up would be any different than a knee high slit in a dress, or even a knee length skirt for that matter :/ Its just to show off the boots anyway

I'm working on making mine, I've almost finished the corset and the hat, but I have all the materials for the skirt. I'm really looking forward to the bustle!! Thats gonna be HOT

lol, now I feel awkward. I guess I would have to demonstrate with some G.I. Joe toys and barbies or something, haha! I'm such a dork.

Anyway that's awesome your working it. I can't wait to see pictures. It's going to be fitted to you, right?

yep! I'm almost done with the corset in fact, I put the eyelets in so it laces up the back, and I still have to cut out the skirt, but I'm procrastinating big time on that. sewing the pieces together are always fun, but cutting the pieces out, especially really big pieces, is a PAIN. I'm excited though!

Sorry, I didn't mean for you to feel like a dork, I was just confused. Do you think some one will pull the strap or something? its not going to actually be a part of the dress, its not really holding anything up except the hem of the skirt.

Yes! I must see pictures. And put your dress in some daylight so I can actually see it. -__-

And yes, I thought a perv might look at the strap as something to grab. D:

It would be really funny if you and your friends were all dressed up and randomly walking around The Block like that, lol!

When's comic con?

I think we will be doing that, to a certain extent. When we all get our costumes made, we're gonna go all over the place to take pics, then go out to dinner at a restaurant afterwards!

Comic con is at the end of July, like the 22nd through 26th or something
