Doodle based off a scene I just outlined in act two where Maggie and Sierra apologize for the way they acted towards each other in jr high for the first time.They're both surprised that things went as well as they did.
Progress, girls. They might not be there yet but baby steps.Β

Sure! Maggie and Sierra are both characters from this story i've been working on for years now. They were really close as kids but fell out pretty bad in jr high and lost contact for years. When they're adults they end up becoming close again because of a bunch of mutual friends.

Sure! It's basically that they ended up in different social circles. Maggie was kinda the popular kid while Sierra was the nerd and they were kind of dicks to each other.

I have! They're part of this big story of mine that i've written bits and pieces of over the years. I have written at least one thing specifically about the two of them but it's kinda old so it isn't my best work haha.

Oh sure! It might be a bit confusing though since it was me writing one scene out of a much larger story but here you go!Β
Faking NormalΒ Β Β For as long as she can remember, Sierra has found math to be an incredibly dull and joyless subject. Now, after the shocking events that she survived three months ago, she finds it to be nearly unbearable. Solving problems using the quadratic formula seems like an incredible waste of her time when somewhere, the apocalypse is raging on and could return at any given moment. Leo had remarked that the time in between their experiences in the glitch world was growing shorter at an erratic pace. Sierra agrees with her friendβs grim theory; the fact that periods of near normal life were becoming scarcer by the day is surely a sign that their situation will soon become even more dire.
Β Β Β Blinking sleepily at the question before her, she tries to summon up the resolve to continue working, but her apathy wins the battle and she continues staring blankly into space. Uncaring and tired has become her new academic persona, a far cry from the successful
