Top: I mentioned that the magic transfer caused an abnormally strong mental link between Amber and Drake. While the others can keep their thoughts/feelings to themselves if they are careful enough, it is harder with these two. They can mostly keep their thoughts to themselves (with much more effort) but it is damn near impossible to keep their emotions to themselves. This leads to some embarrassing moments. Ex: Right here, they are at Target buying god knows what and they pass the flip flops and Amber feels that Drake is REALLY EMBARRASSED and she is amused because she has no idea what is so embarrassing about flip flops. Drake declares that that is none of her business (One time he accidentally shoplifted a pair of flip flops and he cried a lot. He didn't get caught and he still has the flip flops in his room). They usually have a "It's your business I'm not asking questions" policy when they pick up on the other person's emotions (unless it's something as ridiculous as this) but several times in Act Four they pick up on some shit that REALLY WORRIES THEM and confront the other person about it and stuff.

Bottom: After Logan overhears Lars talking about his plan to attack Amber's group, he is obviously distraught and the rest of his crew is relieved to see how genuinely terrified he is and he says some stuff like "I CAN'T JUST LET THEM DIE!" that makes it clear that he is just as fond of Amber's crew as they are and then he talks with Maxine and Annie and asks them what to do and then he runs off shrieking his head off and tells them not to follow him because if there are too many people Lars will catch on and stuff. Piper and Jamie and Devin are watching this and Piper and Jamie know that Logan has finally got it right (Even if he's super fucking conflicted right now) and they are pleased with this. Devin is trying really hard not to get his hopes up. Piper is basically the team mom and you can tell from her expression. Jamie is supposed to be nodding but it looks a little off. YEEE.
