Description

Devin's arc in act three is a lot about dealing with change and how overwhelmed he is with how different things are in the glitch world.

One of the few unchanging things in his life is Gabriel. Even though their circumstances have changed dramatically, their friendship/the way they interact hasn't changed at all and it really comforts Devin.

Act three is also when Devin starts to realize that he's kinda idealized Logan and in reality Logan is a much more flawed person than he thought. Of course, Devin still loves and cares about Logan but having to reexamine the way he looks up to him is rough. The unchanging nature of his friendship with Gabriel is extra comforting in that context.
