Description
This is the second instilment in my Eventing Collection. In this one, I omitted the partial jump in the background because I wanted to keep the focus on the horse and rider. I was particularly happy with the horse's head and the rider's torso – no particular reason, except that, well, I liked what I did.
What do you all think? Good call on the jump? A shading technique you really like, or think I could improve on?The reference was used with permission from , and here it is: [link]

This drawing is phenomenal! The horse just seems to be bursting with power and energy, like he's about to gallop right off the page. His head and his eye are just beautiful, and I love the shine of his coat and tail. The level of detail in this pic just blows me away

yeah when you look at the stock picture the jump just kinda distracts you, I think it looks much beter without it, more focus and purpose
