Description
Lupita with her big, bright eyes and glossy skin tone was super fun to draw. I was just going to leave the background blank, but think it ended up looking ten times better with just a light shade of gray back there.This is a 9x12 drawn with HB-8B pencils. Thanks! I use a huge variety of pencils; basically anything you can buy at a craft store. My sketch pad is a Canson mixed media.

i like your drawing very much - maybe its only me but in your work i have the feeling to face a child or a teenager while the reference is showing an adult woman... but still loving your interpretation

I love how you captured the expressive nature of her. And I think the gray in the background give a little bit more life to the image as well.
