Description
Wallpaper I designed for my current desktop. I have a major obession with the band "The Killers" especially their new album Sam's Town. I decided to do a really minimlalistic wallpaper with a pinstripe background (since pinstripes makes me think of brandon's style lol)I wasn't going to release this originally but I thought why not. It would have been cool if for the "read my mind" part you were able to get the font off the Sam's Town album. And that was a good album, but I'm a silly child and my favorite will always be Hot Fuss. Maybe it was the magic of hearing such a different sound, or their new-ness, but I always listen to that album with a faint smile on my face.omg Im so sorry for blabbing like that D:
I really enjoy the pinstripes here. I have generally the same connection with Brandon Flowers and Pinstripe. the use of line really brings it around and the dark shade of gray highlights the high contrast album cover. I feel that there is a few too many fonts, but that probably couldn't be helped, I understand the struggle of finding a good workable font. In my opinion(which is still underdeveloped, please take no offense) some of the elements here, the blood spatter, the bird crest, and coffee stains, are mostly just to spiffy it up and feel a bit random. Of course, this was made for personal use so you probably didn't care or mind so therefore it wasn't a big problem at the time, and it still isn't, but Im a nosy parker, amateur graphic designer who can't shut up. So I apologize again hahaha.
