based on the treatment of mental patients during the 1920s and 30s. people suffering from a mental illness were disowned, abandoned, and left to rot in institutions claiming to be asylums. everyday was a struggle, knowing that you would never see your family or friends ever again. being thrown away and subject to labotomies and shock treatment were daily occurences. death was a salvation...submission for TwistedRealmz III: Nightmares. this is one of my personal favs of mine from the release. this was, i believe, my second photo manip. go check out TRIII, for an incredible pack of the best dark artists in the community PLEASE FULLVIEW (only way to see the details) 3 photos from various stock resources. textures by myself.

Death truly is a salvation for them and for all those who suffer at the hands of these prisons, but in their own mind, they can be free. I have a special place in my heart for the patients who go to these places and the buildings themselves that hold so many secrets. [faved]

I just stopped by and I have to comment on this one. Its just so full of feeling, you did a remarkable job! The texture you used for the hallway gives it a great dirty feel. the hallway itself appears like it goes on forever. Like the insanity never ends.
