it's probably because you saved the picture files as a jpeg? try savin them as a png
either that or you put too much detail

I got it but it WAY to big and when I want to change it to my icon it says it can't find it when i saved it

It won't work for me, it's over 15kb so i cant use it as my icon; also it does that thing where it pixelates it, y'know where instead of a block colour these random little pixels of a similar colour appear? help please c:>

i don't get how people are getting the icons for licking the screen when it sady has to be 15kb. whenever i try to use it for my icon it doesn't work. anyone know how to help?

Yeah if you're having problems, like with cropping the pic and what not, select one of the frames (as said above) then go to 'images' and select 'Crop' then it'll crop it for you. (easier than dragging, as said above in the deviation) Then click on 'images' again and click on 'attributes' and make the pixel frame 50x50 (as said above) then do 'SAVE AS' and then save the frame as whatever you like. Then to get back to the normal picture, press CTRL and hold it, then press Z to get back and undo what you did, but don't worry, your icon should've been saved already. I've seen questions and comments about not being able to get back, so that should help!
