Description
While drawing The Archer, I also came up with a design for a 2 door variation. It is inspired more on the F-22 raptor plane. It has all of the same stealth capabilities allowing Batman to evade homing missiles and RPGs. The doors and roof have explosive reactive armor panels. This Batmobile is a hybrid Jet engine and hydrogen fuel cell vehicle. The Jet engine pivots up and down much like the exhaust ports for the F-22 raptor to allow it to make a ramp-less jump like the original Tumbler from Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, however, the advantage of being hydrogen fueled is that the exhaust cannot be tracked/traced as the only exhaust is pure water vapor.
The front hood of the car has the same diamond pattern as The Archer car however I tried to make it look something like a bat. The part that looks like a bat is actually supposed to be a small robotic plane which can be launched into the air and provide greater situational awareness. This Batmobile also has more gadgets and weapons than the original Tumbler from the first two movies.
The skirt covering the rear wheels can actually be jetisoned to reduce weight if necessary but help to protect the fuel tank and rear tires.
This Batmobile actually has more defensive and offensive capabilities than The Archer.
The doors also swing open upward like a Lamborghini to allow batman to more easily glide up out of the car while it is in motion similar to the original Tumbler who's entire wind shield retracted forwards.
On an unrelated note, I would love to see The Ventriloquist be the main villain of the next Batman movie. He was probably the most original and interesting villain of the animated series aside from the main gallery of villains. Since the Nolan universe seems to make it really hard for villains like Poison Ivy, Mister Freeze, ManBat, Killer Croc, Clay Face, and The Mad Hatter to exist in a sensible way, and since The Riddler would just be terrible act to follow The Joker, The Ventriloquist seems like the best option. They can carry on with the same theme of personal responsibility, existentialism, and determinism that the first two movies had perfectly. Although, I am betting that either Catwoman or Harley Quinn with The Joker will be the villains of the next movie. Then again, whoever is re-cast to play The Joker is going to have a hell of a fucking time trying to follow Heath Ledger's performance. If The Joker appears in the next Batman movie, the appearance will have to be very short or his entire appearance, I imagine, would have to be obscured. I imagine, ideally, that The Joker is talking to Harley Quinn through a solid shatterproof window, like Hannibal did in Silence of the Lambs, manipulating Harley to become his limbs in Gotham, like a marionette puppet, pulling the strings from within his padded cell inside Arkham Asylum. Then Catwoman sort of helps Batman but then betrays him by teaming up with Harley Quinn then betraying Harley to help Batman again.

I've thought it over and I now believe it would be better for Catwoman to be the primary villain of the next film. Considering the various hints left in the second movie like Lucius Fox mentioning how the new armor "should protect against cats" and how there were all the batman copycats who tried to foil the mob deal with Scarecrow. Catwoman can be a vigilante like in the first two Tim Burton movies. It seems like all the heroes and villains in the Nolan universe as well as their incarnations in the animated series walk the thin blurry line between justice and vengeance. The Joker could also have a connection to Catwoman by having pushed her near the edge using Harley Quinn, and some mob boss character could push her over the edge, literally and figuratively, causing her to become the vigilante known as "Catwoman". I wonder what the title will be. Perhaps it will simply be "The Batman" or "The Dark Knight 3" though technically it would be the second movie to be titled "The Dark Knight" or just "The Batman 3" or perhaps "The Adventures of Batman" as an homage to the animated series which it borrows heavily from.

I really like your design. Check out my custom Batmobiles on Webshots under skphile to see some of my mods with Batmobile models and some original concepts of Bat planes and other vehicles. I think the stealth idea is very cool and have used Nighthawk stealth planes to make modern Bat jets.
Keep up the good work!
