but already there is a software "ave's 3d user picture" that animateds it and it worked on vista and windows 7 beta..when windows 7 went to rc release it stopped..i was wondering if we can do that software work again here is the link : [link]

i think it doesnt work cz i ve tried it on my sp1 several times..i ve sent an email to ave but it seems they closed production..even the mail doesnt work..so anw we ll see

its horrible actually if you have old HDD(like i have) cause it makes allot of noise when the images are loading

I have an SSD and 4 Raptors on my main PC so that wouldn't be bad for me. You can get a new HD on eBay for hella cheap. Is your main drive SATA or IDE?
