I hate snakes SO much, and yet I took a picture of them...BUT I had a glass infront of me!
muhahaha.I dont know what snake it is but I'm sure someone will know, I think they were poisonous? maybe not tho.. who cares, they're scary anyways!

It's some sort of pit viper. Not sure exactly what kind. But, yes, they are venomous.

Why would you hate snakes? They are part of earth too after all. Plus they usually don't bite you if you don't do something to them. Sorry if this is offensive but I have to tell the truth sometimes. Btw just think: if you were a snake you wouldn't hate yourself would you? I'm not trying to be mean :C or anything but yeah. I love all animals no matter how scary they are.

How can you hate them? Snakes are amazing creatures. And there's no such thing as a "poisonous" snake. Some are *venomous*, which is a different thing. Their venom is being used in research into cures for all kinds of illnesses, from Alzheimer's disease to cancer. The Rod of Asclepius (a serpent entwined round a staff) is an internationally recognised symbol for medicine, after all. They're very misunderstood and mistreated animals (though I still wouldn't want to get too close to these guys, lol).

Actually the Tiger Keelback Snake is both poisonous and venomous.

I think that snake looks a lot like a Cottonmouth, and yes, they are poisonous. (But I'm not positive. XP So don't take my word for it)
And not ALL snakes are scary! We had a lovely corn snake named Scissorhead up until my oldest brother's 17th birthday, and he was such a nice snake! Corn snakes aren't poisonous and very mellow, making perfect pets! (And not to mention rather beautiful!

Yes, they are poisonous. Rattlesnakes by the looks of it (you can tell by the triangular shape of the heads). A very nice shot!

Im not to sure what they are ether, but they look to be a mix breed, normally a zoo would only have pure breads , its not quite a python, I have a few of those myself, definitely has that Rattle snake look, but the pattern on the skin doesn't really match a rattle, tho it does have the high brow ridge and very square rear jaw structure of a viper or rattle, pythons have a more rounded muscular structure to the head. Aside from the mystery of the breed, This is one stunning shot.

Nice shot! These appear to be from the Vipera genus of snakes, which includes European pit vipers, so yes...they would be venomous...but not rattlesnakes. Massassauguas are a type of rattlesnake in the Sistrurus genus of North American pit vipers.
I can't tell which species these might be, but they are definitely in the pit viper family, based on the heat sensing pit located in front of the eye, and behind the nostril. There just isn't enough of the body visible to determine species.
You say these were behind glass, so I assume it is a zoo of some sort, which means these could also be a "False Viper", probably of the Coronella genus.
Anyhow...these are just my best guesses.

Yes, they are difinitely venomous. Without a doubt they are a member of the Viperidae family, as they are identifiably pit vipers. It's just a matter of which genus and species, and HOW toxic the venom is.
And yea...I'm a bit of a snake freak. I love them...especially North American pit vipers...

It's a type of viper, sweety. I know, I've been around snakes for 14 years. The shape of the head is V, and the eyes give it away. VERY poisonous.
