A old shot from 2008...So... basically wanted to practise more on composites and such, lighting (striplights) and it turned out I spended some hours on the shot to hopefully make it on my website.
Let me know what u think, how's the lighting and striplights? and how does everything with background and such float together? anything you could point out like......! "HA, it's sooo fake!"

I think it's great! but the streetlights are much too focused compared to other objects the same distance away.

Very nice work with those striplights. i like how the reflections burn out and run over the car. pretty nice.
i like the picture, would like it more with another number plate...swedish one for example. i think this would make it look more real.

bah.. and I just deleted the number plate and replaces it with this corvette logo, maybe it would be better with the real deal actually now when u say it! easy to fix tho..
the car is only lit with 1 image but processed pretty much in PS to give the red more boost and removing reflections etc.. the ground on the otherhand is done by 2-3 images and the rest of the background

Really breathtaking colour and contrast. I love how the Vette stands out strikingly from the dark background like a flaming demon of hotness.

I think part of the issue with whats standing out is how vibrant the car is, but the background seems.. foggy. Maybe try to notch up the brightness of the lights in the city, but being careful not to completely distract from the car... Its a great piece though!

the lighting really is spot on, and there's that nice Z shaped reflection on the door....so kudos for that!
it does tend to look artificial...but then again another look at the car and all doubts are gone

It's a very sharp shot and a great composition, but the car has this mysterious blue/purple light ting from above, which seemingly has no source in it's current framing. What is that? Apart from that you could say it's 'vett-tastic? *groan*

This guy has a point. I didn't notice that until I read this, but now that do I think you're right. Maybe try to replace that with dark red colour, at least on the roof and back spoiler.
In all other aspects, it's a fucking nice piece! Lights look good as well. Two thumbs up

heh nope it isnt that one.. same series tho, the shot I had from original was maybe 15minutes later and both the car and my were shooting the other way around, where i was standing to shoot this shot..
