- Doekit died due to her small size.
- Maskedshadow died from rogues, Glowingmist retired, then died of Greencough.

- Met Blizzard[-storm] Crystalpaw[-blizzard] and Silentpaw[-rain]

Crystalblizzard had found a bit of moss laying around camp and had picked it up. She had found a tad bit of shade to lay in and was sort of absent-mindedly forming it into a round ball. She watched what she did, although she was sort of zoning out, her expression was utterly blank, and she showed no emotion.

The white tall warrior just finished training with Burntpaw, waving till he trains him the next day. He smiled lightly, and walked past the queens den, seeing his mate and kits sleep. He gave a weaker smile and looked away, continuing to pad on to whatever he was doing.

Crystalblizzard stopped shaping the ball, she let it drop from her paws. She snorted and kicked it away, then flopping her head down. She watched as it rolled away from her, not very fast, not very slow. She narrowed her eyes and let out a puff of her breath.

Strikefrost spotted his old friend. He gave a weak smile, but faced the other way. It was still painful to him how he rejected her. He sat down, thinking bout when the 3, including Silentrain were apprentices. He scratched his head, drooping his ears slightly down. He stared down and picked up only a sample of the rich red sand that surrounded them. He then realised it, seeing which way it would flow.

Crystalblizzard watched as her moss rolled away, then stopped and broke apart. White caught her eyes and she flickered her gaze and saw one of her fellow warriors. She looked away quickly, despite his rejection of her, she felt her cheeks grow a very light warmth. She looked down and mentally, and harshly, scolded herself.

"What do I do....she's been avoiding me...does she hate me?" He mumbled under his breath and sighed. He looked at her at the corner of his eye, staring at her pitch black pelt which went lighter to the sides. He yawned, flicking his ears.

Crystalblizzard wrapped her tail sound her body and lifted her head, she wasn't sure what to do, and hoped she didn't look awkward because of it. She was looking at her soot paws, the white around her legs were more of a cream now due to her laying down and sand getting on them. Should I go talk to him or should I just stay here? She silently wondered to herself why she should do now.

To lay things off his mind, he stared at the tree he sat in front of. He smiled, then decided to climb. He loved tree climbing, and he used his sharp claws to go higher. He finally made it to a branch and then laid on one. It was pretty stable so he got comfortable on it.

Crystalblizzard took a quick glance at him, in a tree. She wondered what it was like up there, although she had no intentions to go up there. She simply had no interest, and she wasn't up to it in any case. She realized she was kind of staring and quickly looked away. She then decided maybe prey would get her mind off him, probably not. She got up and shook off, then padded softly over to the fresh-kill pile and took a small lizard, then walked back over to her spot she'd been occupying a few moments ago.

He began to groom himself under the rays of the sunlight. He gave a loud purr, enjoying the heat hitting on his dark back. He looked down at Crystalblizzard again, then looked away, hoping he wasn't spotted. He gave a gulp and continued to lick his paw pads gently.

The silver warrior silently wondered if she should go talk to him. Although he probably hated her. She did fine talking to him last time, but it seemed increasing awkward for no apparently reason she could find. She dug her claws into the ground in frustration, why was everything so complicated? Why couldn't life be simpler? Probably just because she couldn't find a reason for it to be that way..

He stretched his paw and unsheathed his claws, investigating them. Looking back at his tail, he poked his claw as he looked straight back at it. He sighed boringly with nothing to do. Burntpaw was somewhere, Silentrain was busy of taking care of their kits, and he's not exactly being the best father...

She stood up slowly, then stretched. Letting her front paws slide out in front of her, she let her back legs stretch up. She opened her mouth and yawned quietly, then brought her front paws back and relaxed hr back legs. Shaking off, she decided that instead of trying to be less awkward, it increased her situation more. She felt her cheeks grow warm again. She quickly sat down and turned, starting to give herself a quick wash quietly. Maybe that would make her feel less... Strange...

Strikefrost closed his yellow eyes and gave a yawn. He fluttered his eyes, purring as the sunlight rays hit him. He felt already tired from the sunlight, like it's trying to put him to sleep. He lashed his tail slowly in a rhythm. Left, Right, left left, right, left, right right. His tail slowly went in that pattern.

Crystalblizzard switched sides from her left to her right one. She felt her intent to make herself feel less uncomfortable was only making it worse. She silently wondered how Strikefrost actually felt about her, did he hate her? She doubted his words from their last encounter when he said he didn't not care for her in a friend way, why did it still have to be so weird between them still?

Strikefrost looked at back at the lonely warrior. He wondered if she hated him. For rejecting her and going to Silentrain. When he had his first chat with Silentrain, Silentpaw then, he just had a crush on her, though made it look like he was oblivious.

Crystalblizzard silently wondered if she should try to be brave and go talk to him, she looked over and saw his gaze looking her way, she couldn't help it, her cheeks grew warm and she looked away. If she couldn't even make eye contact, how in StarClan's name was she actually going to talk to him? Face to face? She let a shiver run down her as she looked at her paws.

Strikefrost eyes partly closed but reopened half way. He wasn't bothered to do anything. Just lay under the wonderful rays that the sun gave to him on his white and black pelt. He gave an emotionless face. Not happy, sad or angry. Just a boring plain face. He sighed and gave a cough to clear his throat.

On instinct, Crystalblizzard looked over at the noise, moving her head in an upward motion, after locating the sound and figuring out it had come from Strikefrost, she looked away again. Then she sighed and got up, to make the situation less awkward, she might as well just leave. Her ears went down and bit and she padded away from him and towards the camp's entrance.

"You ok Crystalblizzard?" He blinked then turned blue. It was good the awkwardness was gone now, since the silence disappeared, but why did he just randomly blurt that out. He facepawed himself quietly and knew he couldn't take the words back. He sat up and looked down at the she-cat, waiting for an answer.

Crystalblizzard froze, she stood there for a moment, unsure of what to do. Or say. She felt her heart pick up a beat. She couldn't turn around, oh no. She stood there for the longest few minutes of her life. "I-uh.. Um, I...... Y-uh-ye-yeah I-I-I'm f-fine." She stuttered quietly, strongly doubting he'd heard anything, and silently hoping he didn't. She swallowed hard, what was wrong with her?

The tom flinched and forced himself to reply. "You sure, you're stuttering a lot..." He blinked and twitched his muzzle, then sat up staring down at her. His paws were tightly tucked together with his tail over them. He lifted his arm, the one with the longer sock marking and yawned, stretching his claws.

She looked at her paws, still standing where she was. She almost held her breath, but her lungs didn't agree, although she felt like she was being suffocated, she felt she could barely breath, she felt her face grow even warmer and she squeezed her eyes shut. She picked up her voice a little this time and mewed, "I-I al-always stu-stutter..." Her voice was cracked and although it was a little more audible, her voice was still small and delicate, as if she didn't want to break it.

Poucing down from the tree, he raised an eyebrow. "I don't ever remember you stuttering..do you have a fever?" He touched her forehead with his pink and black paw pads. He stared at her eyes and turned red, backing off. "U-uh, sorry.."

She flinched at his touch, but her heart sped up. She silently scolded herself and felt her face grow slightly warm. "I-I s-started r-r-recently.... K-kinda..." She mewed, almost at a whisper, her voice was very tiny and quiet. She swallowed and avoided his gaze, looking away at a tiny bit of grass on the ground next to her.

"Oh, um...makes sense.." He gave an odd smile, but moved his eyes away and scanned his multicoloured paw. He put it back on the red sand that surrounded camp, and put his legs tight together. He looked back at her and felt nervous.

She smiled shyly, but just as it was, it looked awfully fake. Her temporary fake smile drifted away and she looked down at her paws again. "Y-yes." She whispered, almost to herself, barely audible.

He agreed to himself that her smile was defiantly fake. Defiantly. A pout appeared and he gave a slight frown, but trying his best, he lifted his eyebrows and drifted his gaze away. Oh if he were only more confident in speaking with her when he was an apprentice. Not knowing what 'Love' was, and just act cute and playful, always waiting for tomorrow to come.

She stood awkwardly, unsure of what to say. She took in a deep breath and glanced at him for a moment before quickly finding something else to rest her gaze upon. She wished their encounters weren't so awkward, and now that she thought about it, was there any real reason for them to be?

"Soooooooooo, have you been talking to anyone, Bitternight, Oakfang, Wonderstep and such.." He started to name random cats. She probably didn't even know Oakfang and Wonderstep. He flicked his ear embarrassed and sighed.

She frowned, she had heard of Wonderstep, but she'd never encountered the grey she-cat. She carefully looked up at him. "O-Oakfang, I-I t-talk t-to h-him." She meowed, then looked down at her paws again, thinking of Bitternight and feeling herself start shake ever so slightly.

"Oh, so you have met one of these cats. Is he nice to you? If not, I can deal with him~" He would hate for any cat to pick on Crystalblizzard. He still looked at Crystalblizzard as his best friend.

She blushed at his comment, why would he deal with Oakfang? It didn't seem like something an ex-crush would do for you. She shook her head and fluffed up her cheek fur a bit, trying to hide her pink skin. "N-no I... I t-thik I-I'm fi-fine." She said, not really sure whether she should say thank you or not. "H-he, he d-does t-try t-to c-cheer me u-up s-s-sometimes t-though.."

"Ah that's good to know~" He smiled lightly in return to his old friend. His tail moved from left to right as his face was lit up.

"S-so, h-how's Silentrain do-oing?" She asked, the only cat's name she wouldn't stutter on. She hadn't talked to her friend in some time though, she missed her incredibly, but she tried to push that aside.

"Oh, she's fine..." He smiled. Though, the problem was he felt so distant towards her. Why? Who knows? Too busy? Or he was somehow embarrassed to see her after feeling this thing.

She smiled for a few moments, before casting it away. "Th-that's lo-lovely." She said, it wasn't hostile or bitter or stale, it was warm and a little more confident. She looked carefully and her friend's mate, oh. If only he knew, but he can't, the only cat she could ever confide her secret in was Silentrain, and she hoped to StarClan she would.

He nodded. "My kits are nearly apprentices to..my how fast they grow." He gave a little chuckle. If only he spent more time with them, to see them grow.

She continued avoiding his gaze. "Ye-yeah, of cour-course" She forced a small laugh. "I-it onl-only see-seemed li-like yest-erday I-I wa-was ea-earnin-ing th-the n-name Cr-Crystalp-paw." She stumbled. She remembered when nothing mattered, when life seemed bright and full of life. Now she saw her days as dull and lifeless. She continued normal life tasks, the only other thing she did was take solitary walks. She had talked with other cats, sure. But she never was one to ever spark on a conversation.
