Very nice picture of Lucas. It's very sweet and touching. Very true message, I've got to get around to playing this so I can fully understand the impact of the message. I have been playing a lot of Earthbound/Mother 2 and some hacks of it, so I should give Mother 3 another shot.

I agree with the message. In fact, it's just as much of a potential sign of strength (as your title suggests) and/or security within yourself as it is weakness.
Never played Mother 3 or any other game in the series, and I'm not crazy fond of Lucas as a character (I don't dislike him, either, though). Nevertheless, I like the effort and thought put into this, and that's why I've no problem supporting this piece. Nicely done.

Perhaps if I had ever imported a game, I would have experienced the series by now. That said, that's an endeavor that I've not dared myself to do to this point.
My best hope of playing the series at all is probably when Earthbound releases on the Wii U, but it's not like I'm planning on getting the system anytime soon.
