 While the boy is always one for jokes, Danny did not visually react to Rin's pun other than offering a rehearsed, polite smile - the kind he reserved for when he felt uncertain but didn't want to offend others. "Well, I suppose you're right... But with all due respect, while I will take what you say into account, I will continue to trim down my spikes. I hate the thought of unintentionally hurting someone else, and I believe it'd be selfish of me to consider risking it. You may not understand, but that's all right.   At that, the boy is visibly shaken - eyes wide in both apprehension and a slight hint of curiosity, which only increased as soon as Rin pranced away. Surely the Circus isn't that bad?
