Animus

Animus's core is frustration. All her life, Liandra bottled up her negative emotions from being ignored and belittled by her peers. She wants to think they meant it in a friendly way, but she never fully realized how much it hurt her. When she puts on her Mask, all of her pained feelings blossom into the rage of the Mega Gyarados she becomes. She's violent, always picking a fight, wanting to take out her anger on something as a means to vent her years of frustration. As far as she's concerned, though, she's only having fun. Her life was boring, after all. But now, she can go outside and play.

Luka
{ Megurine Luka, sometimes referred to as Luka Megurine, is a humanoid persona voiced by a singing synthesizer application. }

Luka's core is trust. Li has always been an optimist and tries to never take rudeness or bluntness from other people too seriously. She trusts that everyone - more specifically her friends - mean well, and as such, Luka always makes a point to befriend anyone she meets. Violence is the furthest thing on her mind; all she wants to do is talk, joke around, and have fun.

Renai

Renai's core is reservation, and tends to linger on Li's lack of motivation. Her nature as a Yamask plays on Li's more negative side when it comes to the behavior of those around her; where Li and Luka try to look on the bright side of things, Renai picks apart a situation in the most literal way to a point where it drags her down. Li has always wanted acceptance, but Renai feels as though that's inachievable.
