Sometimes being just plain simple on some art pieces is all it really needs. A beautiful calm white background really brings out your main subject. It looks as if you implied modern coloring with your character with japaness ink painting with the ground. Puting your character to the side it extra points for ya, characters dead in the center create a dull impression. Shadows and highlighs being out her flesh making her more believable. Although it is a classical posture and overall classical white background. It does overcome originality by the execution of it. As much as I want to look at the character, I do however get distracted by the patches of grass zigging in a 2D effect. With a 3-D figure like your character, it does make it look like she's floating over a 2D flat surface. Perhaps add that same effect past the length of her tail and alittle in the foreground to give it that kind of depth. But it's a minor negative in my view cause its not the true main focus of the picture. Keep up the awesome work Delay

thank you. i wasn't entirely sure with the grass, so i'm glad you mentioned that. i will see what i can do when i have time to edit this

That's so pretty Delay. I love the sweet smile it's not often that you show that side of your character in your art. I really like the simplicity of this picture, it's like a pretty Hallmark card :3
