After years of having to fend for himself, feeling like the world either didn't want him or was out to get him, unsure if he was even a person or just a mutant animal, the delinquent Sonic finally has an emotional breakdown in front of Tom and Tika......in a diner I guess.

I tried to make these look like stills from an animated film, with a more "realistic" design for Sonic and a pose and expression inspired by Amethyst in SU.

My guess is that there is a war in his world and he lives in the Acorn Kingdom. The rival kingdom wants to uses Sonic powers by using magic to take it and he escapes.
I highly doubt that Sally and the kingdom are going to be in the movie, but the main friends still misses him and think he is an idiot for leaving.Β
Tails, Amy and Knuckles would get a mentioned but I don't know any villain's that are not Dr.Eggman that would case harm to Sonic.
