UPDATE: It turns out, Walt actually made peace with ol' Charlie. The guy was down on his luck, hat in hand, when Walt came up to him in the lobby at Universal. They exchanged pleasantries, shook hands, the whole shebang. Some "bad guys" need second chances. It just takes a good guy who's willing to give it to them.

In the greatest of ironies, if Charles hadn't taken Oswald, Mickey Mouse would've never been created, and he wouldn't be the star he is now. More than that, the Disney company would've never grown to become the empire it is. Funny how it all works out, huh?
