Description
sorry, i couldn't resist the clichΓ© of wheat and sky that seems to be very popular on dA at the moment, i swear i didn't take this photo for the wheat... just those lines and playing with the depth of field, the way i could move the focus through the crops picking one blade after the other... choosing the construction of the picture, and then suddenly releasing the shutter and slapping it onto a big chunk of film that i could one day hold in my hands... if the grain were an animal then it would flee from the snap of my noisy old camera, i sometimes wonder if i should be wearing airplugs.Bubendorf -Switzerland

The black and white colours fit perfectly.
I like this picture very much! A nice soft bokeh in the background. It surely has its charme. ^^

thanks, i would have liked more of the bokeh, spread all over the background... but that's just being greedy!

These photos are popular whenever nature shows them However, a good classical thing. Nothing specail but classics have their own charme.

It's wonderful. The layers of focus are brilliant, especially as the wheat starts to fade. Well done.

thanks, it's so much fun playing with really shrt depth of field, it's like i can select which i want, and create smears of light in the background at the same time.

Everyone's gotta do it at some point although I personally like to think that Keith started the trend years ago
I however have never photographed wheat.
I don't know why, but I get a sense of emptiness from this.
More like hollowness.

sweet, well someone has to start a good thing... hollowness? not like shallowness?

Gorgeous work hun! The exposure is spot on and so is your choice of composition and depth of field. And of course, I love your black and white work!
This one particularly appeals to me (of course, I'm addicted to flora and shallow dof lol)
Beautiful stuff!

thanks!
you know what i loved the most about taking this photo? i took a light reading at home, then went for a walk and shot freehand without any greycards or lightmeters... kind of like "freelight"
