I'm 21, so guess it's partially due to my exprience, but there's multiple way to imporve.

One of them is repeat the same thing/drawing a bunch of time.

A other is challenge youself to draw time to time without erasing to learn how to improvize solution for mistakes.

and the other one that I have in mind is don't be afraid to try anything, to explore the possibilities, drawing a characters in a bunch of differents positions help a lot to after to draw he/she/them.
